This 2-bedroom, 1 full bath rental apartment just got a modern makeover. When I first saw this apartment it was like I had stepped back in time to my grandmother's 1980s apartment complete with mauve carpets and white laminate/wood kitchen cabinets. It was clear this place was in need of a refresh to appeal to renters in the 21st century. The refresh plan included replacing the solid wood kitchen cabinets with new white wood doors, SS appliances, gray subway tile backsplash and marble-look quartz countertops. The bathroom got a new gray vanity with marble top, lighting, plumbing, hardware and some fresh marble-look porcelain tile (easy maintenance for rentals). The rest of the apartment got new dark wood-look laminate floors, crown molding, fresh paint, brighter lighting and closet organizers. I was super excited to hear the apartment rented in just a few days!
